About Brett McDavid passed away August 19th, 2008 at his home in Cleveland at the age of 27 years old. He was cooking and apparently left his food cooking on the stove top unattended and fell asleep. EMS found him in "full arrest" and he was later pronounced dead at St. Vincent Charity Hospital, Cleveland due to smoke inhalation.

Brett was a very gifted person. He excelled in school, actually he excelled in everything. He graduated from Brookside High School as Valedictorian of the class of 99'. He then went to University of Toledo through the LCCC university partnership program where he obtained his bachelor's in both computer science and computer engineering. He was a self taught guitar player, playing bass, acoustic and rythym guitar. He then became a founding member of the band Fangboner. This band had signed a record deal and played all over Ohio and other states as well.

He was talented in all aspects of arts. He did drawing,sketching and portraits. He had a way with words and poetry. He has even created architecture blue prints, a few houses have been built from his prints.

His passport has been everywhere. He's been to many major cities all over the world. He recently returned from Switzerland and was planning a trip to Budapest in the next few weeks. He had hopes of starting a European based company involving computer technology. His father was just showing me some of the souveneirs he has brought home for him from his travels.

He has a collection of awards, honors and so forth dating back from school academics and sports moving on to his adult life and career. He finished 4th place in the nation at the National Gaming Convention.

Brett was an amazing person who had a great laught, always smiling and loved life.
